Post 4: The Grinch Who Stole Your Care Package

The care package, the gift from Santa Claus himself falls from the sky, and you can just make out the emblem of that blackbird on the top, you race toward the box and dive behind it like a kid at the christmas tree on Christmas day.  The progress bar moves forward..."oh boy," you think, "my first blackbird!" and...as soon as your excitement comes, its ripped from you as you're shot in the back by the guy who was watching you the whole time...

The mediocre gamer has learned...
Stay away from care packages.  Some would disagree, but here's my reasoning.

1.  It's not worth it.
This isn't Modern Warfare 2.  Care packages in Black Ops rarely get you anything above a counter-spy plane, even after a hardline pro re-roll.  You're much better off running a Napalm strike.

2.  A care package disrupts your killin' groove.
As soon as you get your care package, you get so excited to see what will fall from the sky, you forget the task at hand, go racing to a corner of the map where you're (seeminly) alone, and miss your chance at other kills.

Stick to the killstreaks that will help you immediately--spy planes, counter-spy planes, RC-XDs.  Don't let the Grinch steal your care package this Christmas.
